The following games include suspense, flashing pictures and ominous music. Not recommended for those with severe anxiety.
Do you have a grudge?: based on the Grudge movie. You basically walk around the house and get to explore it, click on certain parts and you’ll see flickering shadows and long dark hair.
Purgatorium:  a short and creepy point-and-click escape-the-room game with some rather horrific graphic visuals nestled inside. If you are having problems going through the game just google “Purgatorium walk throughs” and that should help.
Exmortis: graphic images, flashing pictures, begins with you waking up in the woods with a lump on your head and unable to recall how you got there. All you recall are the dreams. You’ll see a house up ahead and decide that shelter there is better than freezing to death in the woods. Think of the house at the end of Blair Witch and you’ll be right at home.
Hero’s Adventures: If you wanna take a break from the serious horror themes of the above games, here’s a cute little game made pokemon style. Mild horror themes, no graphics, short little game.
Slenderman game: Everyone was going crazy over this game back in the days. It is a short, experimental horror game in which you must travel into a dark woods at night, with a simple goal: find 8 pages that are scattered across the woods. There’s just one catch, he might get ya if your not careful. You must download this game to your computer (no charge)
Ao Oni: Japanese survival horror game. Although each version differs heavily from the others, the objective is always the same. Locked in a mansion, you explore and solve puzzles while running from an enigmatic demon. You must download this game.
Zombie games: This site has a bunch of games where you have to shoot zombies before they get to you. Each game has it’s own story. No terrible graphics. Suitable for kids. Think of it as a break from all the other heavy creepy ones.
Red Asylum: Another interactive haunted house game, where you must try to find your way out
Deep Sleep: You are stuck inside a nightmare dream. Something lurks in the darkness. Something in the depths of your own mind wants to pull you even deeper. Someone will escape this dream for sure. The question is - who is that going to be? Pretty sweet game. If you are stuck here are some walkthroughs
SCP- Containment Breach: puts you in a ‘containment facility’, which is holding a strange and unnerving entity called SCP-173, a sculpture monster that can only move when not in direct line of sight. When unseen, it is extremely hostile and dangerous. You can watch a trailer of it here to get a good idea of the game. You must also download this game to your computer.
Alright that’s all the good online games I could find so far! Hope you guys all enjoy!

Every artist who sees this post should do the following:

- Watch the video.

- Follow the instructions

- Reblog

I can’t stress you enough about how important these exercises are for your drawing hand. You don’t wanna get CTS of Tendonitis and similar stuff that will prevent you from making art or even hold  a pencil.

Okay, this guy is my HERO. I just did these exercises as I watched the video, and already my arms and hands feel better. I have a degenerative tendon disease that prevents my muscles, tendons and ligaments from retaining their elasticity, and so anything that maintains the health of my bendy parts is important.

I URGE YOU. Even if you don’t draw, do these several times a day. Even just sitting at a computer can do serious damage. My dad, who was a rugby player, a carpenter, and now a handyman, suffered from severe carpal tunnel syndrome, simply as a result of sitting at the computer at the end of the day to play a little solitaire. Don’t let it happen to you!

((Guys, I will reblog this like, 5 times a day just so you all will see this. This is REALLY helpful, and it’s quick and easy.))

Wow, these are REALLY helpful. And yes, this is not just good but IMPORTANT for more than artists — if you type a lot, play a lot of video games, do anything that requires lots of repetitive movements of your hands, wrists, and arms (gardening, sewing, factory work), these can help. Even if you don’t yet get pain these are a great preventative measure, because the damage builds up over time. Youth is no protection.

And like he says, you should feel a stretch, but don’t push it too far!

Signal boosting.  Guys, I just did this and holy cow do I feel incredibly light and limber in my arms.  Again, even if you don’t have any sort of disease, do this as a preventative measure.

DEAR LORD THIS FELT WONDERFUL THANK YOU SO MUCH TO omfg-am-i-hallucinating-again FOR SENDING THIS TO ME

OMG ;___; This actually kind of helped! Obviously it’s necessary to do these a few times but you’ll actually feel the results right after O_o Fabulous!

I do these everyday now without fail. I’m not sure if it’s the only thing that helped, all I know is I couldn’t draw or write /at all/ thanks to wrist pain two months ago, and today I can with minimal pain and increased strength in my hands.

Some notes on how blending works in Sai.I’ve been getting my brushes, blotmaps, and textures from ptsbrushes & Deviantart.

If you can’t find a certain texture that’s listed here, just google “Sai + THAT TEXTURE” and it’ll show you a link to any number of ppl on DA who provide those textures for download including instructions!

Some other notes in messing around with various brushes & settings:

The “fringe” layer effect in Sai is akin to Photoshop’s “stroke” layer mode option. It essentially adds an outline to anything on that layer. Combined with watercolor texture and watercolor brushes/blending brushes, that’s how you get that authentic look since real life watercolors push the pigments to the edges of your brush strokes due to water tension. This creates the darker outlined fringe that is so trademark to the authentic watercolor look.

By blending with a different foreground color, it is similar to having some pigment left over on your brush when you try to blend the colors on the paper with water. In sai, the harder you press, the more the foreground color inserts itself into your blending (when using the pictured brush & settings). The softer you press, the more diluted the blending is, and thus the softer it looks. Give it a shot! Post questions in my ask.
